Good morning, loves and HAPPY MONDAY!  Things are slow moving over here this morning.  We are settling back in after a great weekend celebrating my brother’s wedding.  We were thankful for the opportunity to celebrate with so many people that we love!  But boy, was it good to be back in our own bed last night!  Don’t you worry one little bit though – I took lots of photos and hope to have them sorted and posted soon!

Today though, I’m excited to be guest posting with Lauren over at Mothering Honestly Blog for her current series on breastfeeding where she is featuring moms with all different experiences to share their stories.  If you’ve taken a look around here, you may have seen my own post with some tips that got me through the first year of nursing Little.

Breastfeeding Tips and Encouragement for New Moms - My breastfeeding experience

So, be sure to check out the post here and leave some love! I’ll be back here on Wednesday, like always with new content!  I hope everyone has an awesome start to the week.

Anyone got any fun plans for the week?

  1. Thanks for sharing! I am glad it is a good experience for you! It was for me as well 🙂 It ended naturally with my son and I’m glad there was no huge sadness knowing it was the last time!

Absolutely. I’m glad you also had a great experience. We were really thankful for it! <3

  2. I loved what you had to say! I’m much the same way as you, my attitude is that we’ll try it but if it doesn’t work then ultimately fed is best! I’ve been able to nurse all of mine to just past a year, but with my last one the last couple of months were a struggle since I was starting to go low carb and I noticed a drop in supply.

I think that mindset really made a big difference for me. Isn’t it crazy how a diet change can make such a big difference?

  3. Sounds like you’ve had a great experience! I’m so happy for you! Tips are always helpful too.

It was a great experience! Thank you for stopping by!

  4. Congratulations on your little one! I am getting to the point of stopping nursing but loved it minus the beginning stages when it involved snuggles!

Thanks so much! I really did enjoy it and was so thankful for the experience. I was also so thankful that it ended so naturally so I wasn’t really sad about it ending!
