Happy Friday and Happy March, friends!  I’m glad you’re back for another week of Friday Favorites over here!

These weekly posts are quickly becoming some of my favorites to write because they are such a fun way to quickly check-in and share what’s been going on during the week, new things we’ve purchased, and just things we’ve been enjoying (or not, depending on the week).

It’s also a good check for me to be mindful throughout the week of things I’m thankful for and if for that reason alone, I’m glad for it.

And as a side note – yesterday TOTALLY felt like Friday to me.

But it wasn’t.  Today is Friday and here are this week’s favorites.

Recent Amazon Finds

In an effort to corral some of the things around here and figure out ways to make the most of our space, I picked up some hanging organizers from Amazon.

I got this mesh toy organizer for the boys’ bathroom and we’ve been loving it so far.  Little can help put the toys away after baths and the bath toys stay in the bathtub now.  (You can also pay just $1 more for a set of foam bath letters and numbers to be included – which is a GREAT deal, but we already have foam letters and in our efforts to declutter, I opted to just get the organizer.

I also got this hanging jewelry organizer for myself.  I don’t have a ton of “fine jewelry”, but I do have things I’d like to protect.  It was all previously stored on standing jewelry holders – which weren’t full, but took up valuable shelf space.
This one just hangs in the closet and helped me free up some space.  So far, so good.

New Rain Gear for Everyone

We’ve also been having so much rain these days (although, we definitely had a few sunny days this week too and made sure to go for some walks and squeeze in some time at the playground).

Which means that I’ve been getting lots of use out of these new rain boots that I recently picked up at Target.

They were just $24.99 and they come in 4 different colors – black, gray, olive, and burgundy.  I chose the gray ones, but they don’t really look like a true grey to me.  More of a gray-beige, which I REALLY like.  They are perfectly neutral and go with everything.

The boys recently got these rain jackets from i Play Baby, which they love!  The jackets are lightweight (and fit over their sweatshirts if it’s cold outside, but are still perfect for the spring and summer and they have a little elastic around the hood, which keeps the hood on when we are out in the rain, but isn’t too tight.

Bible Study Fellowship (BSF)

We also recently joined a local Bible Study Fellowship group during the week, which the boys and I have been enjoying.  We’re going through the book of 2 Samuel now, which is challenging, but full of important lessons.

One of my goals this year is to get into the Word daily and the structured guides and reading plans have been helpful to me in that.

And while I’m in a discussion group with other women (it’s a multi-generational group, which I enjoy), the boys each have their own class where they get to learn and play.  Little is in AWANA and the kids’ program on Sundays at our church, but he enjoys he extra “class” during the week.  The littlest still isn’t sure what to make of it, but they love on him so well, I know it’s good for him to get used to being around other people and little friends his age.

New Leather Earrings + Flash Sale + Coupon Code

I’ve shared my favorite leather earrings from Sisters & I Designs with y’all before and this past weekend, they had a GREAT flash sale on their mini signature earrings.  50% off plus buy 5, get 1 free.  It was 6 pairs of earrings for just $20 – so I grabbed some new colors that I didn’t have already plus a pair of their new stud earrings to try and I love them!

They have flash sales every weekend (check out this weekend’s flash sale here), with AWESOME deals, and you can always use my code: mary10 to save 10% – even on flash sale items!

Champagne Minis // Plum // Natural Cork & Rose Gold // Antique Red // Blush // Large Silver Studs

They make really great gifts for yourself or friends/family and one fun thing you can do – especially with sales like the buy 5 get 1 free is go in with a friend and each pick a few pieces that way you can take advantage of the deal, but also both save some extra money!

Bathroom Mirror Selfies and Some Thoughts on Social Media

Finally, I posted ONCE this week on Instagram.   It’s just not always my strength – sometimes I’m super consistent and other times, I’m just quiet and a little MIA on social.

But life is being lived over here.  And I have lots to say and share, but it’s hard sometimes to balance that with creating content often on social media.  But if you want to know, here are some of the things I’ve been thinking about while I haven’t been doing it for the ‘gram this week:

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted a bathroom mirror selfie. The truth is, planning and scheduling social media content isn’t one of my strengths. Sometimes I’m great at it and the next week, I’m totally silent. But, I really do love engaging in this space, so tonight I’m sharing a few things on my mind. I don’t have a major takeaway, just the thoughts I’m processing: 1. Being intentional in Bible study and time in prayer. How to carve out this time when the world has 1,000 other things trying to get my attention. 2. What does it mean to be a homemaker? Like, to MAKE home. Creating space for people and rhythms that allow us thrive. 3. Creating rhythms & routines in our day that allow for productivity, quality time, and rest. (And just unplugging intentionally and more frequently.) Those are my top three. We’ll talk about them more, but there they are so you know what’s on my mind and in my heart these days. What is something you are learning or thinking about these days? Come process with me! . . . . . . #myhonestmotherhood #motherhoodintheraw #motherhoodisanctifying #motherhoodismyjam #motherhoodisdarling #simplymamahood #documentingmotherhood #honestlymothering #hotmessmom #choosecontentment #thatmomlife #justmomlife #momstyle #storytellingmama #momstories #momiform #wellwateredwomen #moments_of_mom #propelwomen #motherhoodlens #thisismotherhood #thepursuitofjoyproject #thesweetlifeunscripted #realmomstyle #thelittlethings #beingmama #imsobloggingthis #boymama #momstatus

And that’s what we’ve got this week.  Honestly, I’m hoping for a really productive day today followed by a restful weekend and preparation for next week.  It’s raining again today so we’re indoors – so it’s a laundry and cleaning day for Mama while the boys play today.

It’s not glamorous, but I’m thankful to be able to [hopefully] get the house in order so we can relax more easily this weekend!

In Case You Missed It:

On Monday, I posted this fun little torn paper shamrock craft that’s great for fine motor skills for your little ones as we get ready for St. Patrick’s day in a couple of weeks!

  1. That looks like a great toy organizer. I need to pick up a new pair of rain boots. Mine got a hole in the rubber and my sock gets wet every time now lol. I hope you have a great weekend! Sierra Beautifully Candid

We have really enjoyed it so far! Easy to use, and doesn’t allow standing water, which we like! Also, I really like these rain boots! It’s been really rainy here lately and I was thankful I had picked them up!
