Happy happy Friday, my friends!  I don’t know about you, but I have been ready for Friday this week!  We’ve been teething (with 2-year molars) over here this week and it has proven to be quite a doozy.  We also had a 2 year well visit this week, but Little was a champ at that, so that proved to be no big deal.

Five on Friday: A Weekly Round-up with Live Well Play Together

Anyway, it’s been a few weeks since we’ve done Friday post like this and since it’s the end of the month (!!) I wanted to be able to share with you all this morning.

Truth be told though, this week’s post is mostly an Instagram round-up, so if you’re following along there, too, it’s likely you’ve already seen some of these.

Fall That Still Feels Like Summer

I don’t know about where you are, but it’s been so hot in NC the last couple of weeks, it has definitely not settled into fall just yet.  Tomorrow though is supposed to be in the mid-70’s so we are pumped for that.  We’ve got an outdoor wedding to go to in the afternoon, so partly-sunny and 75 sounds about perfect.  In the meantime though, you can find us still out in the shade eating frozen pops.

A Fun Craft Project for Little

Another thing I shared lately, was this fun little sneak peak for a project I did for Little.  I’ve actually finished it now and am working on a post to share all the details with you in the next couple of weeks.  Spoiler alert: It was super easy, it’s educational, and we’ve been having lots of fun with it around here.  Be sure to keep an eye out for the full post soon!

A Trip to the Zoo

Okay, so this wasn’t this week, but we still talk about our September zoo trip over here.  I just love this photo of Little watching me feed the giraffe.  He eventually fed them himself, but he is so observant in new situations and wanted to be up close, but wanted Mama and Daddy to actually be the ones feeding for a while.  I will never get over watching him learn new things.  (To see more of our zoo trip, be sure to check out this week’s earlier post here.)

A Fun Month on the Blog

September has been a really fun month here on Live Well Play Together.  I’ve been working hard on the content and being more organized and I’m happy about where the place is going.  We’re pretty close to this being the best month to date over here and I am really excited about that.  I’ve met lots of new people this month and have been able to start some work on the content that’s planning to roll out next month. (And trust me, it’s some good stuff.)  The next thing on my list is to start better learning Pinterest, so if you have any tips and tricks, be sure to let me know!  I also want to hear from you if there are specific questions or topics that you’d like to see covered here.  Don’t be shy!

The Possibility of Vacation

Finally, Hubs and I are contemplating a fall vacation.  I am really excited and can hardly wait.  Now to pick a place and an actual time.  We haven’t been away without Little and I think a vacation will serve both of us well.

Five Things on Friday: A Weekly Round-up with Live Well Play Together

And that’s what we’ve got this week, folks.  I mentioned that we are heading to an outdoor wedding tomorrow, and other than that, I’m just hoping the weather forecast holds for a beautiful and relaxing weekend.

What fun plans do you have going on this weekend?
